R&D Air Supply Design division comprises a team of dedicated engineers who have gained a wealth of knowledge and practical experience working in both multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firms and mechanical services contracting companies.

Through our ongoing relationships with leading construction companies and architects, we are invariably presented with the opportunity of joining the project team at the concept and planning stage of the project. Here our engineering expertise when combined with our construction experience at this early stage ensures that the design and construction of the project meets the required operating parameters. The design team has the capacity to provide leading edge detailed design of mechanical services systems for all aspects of the air-conditioning industry whether it be design and construct from project inception or further developing a concept design based on consultants' performance specification.

Our innovative design division can adapt both simple and complex designs to meet the specific needs of end users without comprising any mandatory building code requirements. Further when combined with our construction capabilities we can often work towards a design which also meets clients' budget.

Our design division regularly attends accredited continuing professional development courses that keep them informed and up to date with the latest Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD) principles, energy and Green Star rating schemes and code requirements.

The design division utilises standard industry design aids such as ACAD BSG software programmes for heat load calculations, pipe work and ductwork sizing. All designs are documented using the latest version of AutoCAD and project construction aids such as Microsoft Project which are used to ensure the overall coordination of services and the efficient installation and timely completion of the individual projects.
